History
NRC is a consolidation and expansion of the former Buffalo Area Council of Churches (1854) and the Buffalo Area Metropolitan Ministries (1975). From 1999 as an interreligious/ecumenical organization of denominations, congregations, and religious organizations located in Western New York State, U.S.A. and the Niagara Peninsula of Southern Ontario, Canada.
