Mission To collaboratively serve our community by providing emergency food, shelter, housing and support in ways that meet immediate needs and respect human dignity.
Goals To assist those in need of food, shelter, health care, and educational support and to help these individuals move towards a long-term goal of self-sufficiency
Approach The family shelter offers a safe, secure, stable and supportive environment for adults with dependent children who are experiencing homelessness. It provides a temporary residence and a full array of services to assist families in returning to a permanent living situation. Families in the shelter receive daily support along with classes and trainings in family dynamics, job searches, budgeting and nutrition (to name but a few). They also receive individual case management to develop and implement a plan of action to move toward self-sufficiency.
